Nicole Kraus
5th Grade Teacher
With a background in Sociology and Psychology, Nicole Kraus has always understood teaching as something bigger than academics. She holds a B.A. with a 1-9 teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and brings that understanding of how people learn, grow, and connect to her 5th grade classroom at KTEC Schools of Innovation. A named Encore Educator in 2024, she comes to KTEC from Starbuck International K8, where she taught 5th grade.
She became a teacher because she believes in dedicating herself to something greater than any single outcome. For Nicole, that means helping every child discover their talents, build confidence, and develop the foundation they will carry with them long after they leave her classroom. She is committed to each student’s growth as a whole person, not just academically, and sees collaboration between educators and families as essential to making that happen.
