Nichole Hack

Middle School Science

Science has always been Nichole Hack’s thing, and she built a career around sharing that enthusiasm with students. A graduate of Carthage College with a B.S. in Elementary Education, she comes to KTEC Schools of Innovation from Ruth Harman Academy, where she taught middle school science and earned the KUSD Spark Award in 2022. In addition to her classroom work, she has served as advisor for National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, and Transition Coaches, a student-led group that helps 5th graders find their footing as they move into middle school.

At KTEC, Nichole looks forward to building a science classroom that is as fun as it is meaningful. Her goal has always been to open students’ eyes to the world of science and inspire them to stay curious about how things work.

Outside of school, she stays busy with her husband and two kids, Alexis and Logan, who are involved in dance, gymnastics, horse riding, and soccer. The family loves camping, hiking, bike rides, and a good game night. She is also the proud owner of an Australian shepherd named Cubbie, after the Chicago Cubs.
