Hannah Lizano

Hannah Lizano brings both the mindset of a competitor and the heart of an educator to KTEC Schools of Innovation. A six-year collegiate athlete and D3 National Qualifier in the Weight Throw, she knows firsthand what it takes to push through challenge and reach your potential. She holds a B.S. in Broad Field Social Studies with a minor in Secondary Education and History, as well as an M.Ed. in Education with a focus in Sports Leadership, both from Carthage College. She comes to KTEC from Washington Middle School in Kenosha, where she taught 7th grade Social Studies and Science.

That competitive drive carries into everything she does. Hannah serves as an assistant track coach at Tremper High School and became a teacher for the same reason she coaches: a genuine passion for helping students grow, learn, and discover what they are capable of. She is excited to bring that energy to her social studies classroom at KTEC.
