A Beautiful Transformation Recognized by the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce
KTEC Schools of Innovation was also honored with a Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Award at the Chamber’s 110th Annual Meeting.
The award, proudly accepted by KTEC Principal Karre Feuker, recognizes the transformation of our new campus at 1901 63rd Street in Kenosha into an inspiring environment where students can learn, explore, innovate, and prepare for their futures.
Our new 56,000-square-foot campus represents a $17 million investment in the future of education and workforce development in Kenosha.
More than a building, this transformed space brings our 4K–12 students together and expands opportunities for hands-on learning, collaboration, and career exploration.
The grand opening of KTEC’s new Kenosha campus marked a significant milestone in the school’s history, transforming a former grocery store into a dynamic educational environment equipped with specialized labs and technology-rich learning spaces.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce for this recognition and to the many individuals, organizations, and community partners who helped bring this vision to life.

Investing in Financial Literacy and Real-World Learning
The celebrations don’t stop there! KTEC Schools of Innovation was recently awarded a $7,500 Financial Literacy Innovation Grant through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions.
KTEC was among the organizations recognized as part of a statewide initiative to expand financial literacy education.
This funding will help KTEC expand financial literacy education through curriculum development, teacher professional development, and meaningful real-world learning experiences. Potential opportunities include guest speakers from business and industry, educational field trips, and simulations that allow students to apply financial concepts in practical situations.
From understanding loans and interest to navigating taxes and financial decisions, these experiences help prepare students with essential life skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
This investment reinforces KTEC’s commitment to connecting academic instruction with the knowledge and skills students need for success in college, career, and life.
Building on a Foundation of Innovation
These recognitions come during an exciting period of growth for KTEC Schools of Innovation.
The opening of our unified 4K–12 campus in fall 2026 marks a significant milestone in our mission to redefine education through academic excellence, hands-on learning, and career-connected experiences. With expanded learning spaces, specialized labs, and growing partnerships with local employers and educational institutions, including Snap-on and Gateway Technical College, KTEC continues to create opportunities for students to explore STEM, skilled trades, technology, and other career pathways.
These pathways connect classroom learning with real-world applications, providing opportunities for students to earn college credits, pursue industry-recognized certifications, and develop valuable workforce skills. For Kenosha’s business community, KTEC’s growth represents more than an investment in education. It’s an investment in our region’s future workforce, helping prepare the next generation of skilled employees, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.
Through KTEC’s Industry Partnership Program, local businesses have opportunities to engage with students, support hands-on education, and help shape career-connected learning experiences that meet the needs of our regional economy.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Success!
From community-voted awards and outstanding educators to campus improvements and innovative educational programming, this fall has given us so much to celebrate! We are grateful to our students, families, educators, staff, business partners, and the greater Kenosha community for believing in KTEC’s mission and helping make these achievements possible.
Together, we’re building more than an award-winning school. We’re creating opportunities, strengthening our community, and preparing students for a future filled with possibilities.
