KTEC Schools of Innovation Launches the Innovators Soccer Club
KTEC Schools of Innovation is proud to announce the launch of the KTEC Innovators Soccer Club, a brand-new program offering middle and high school students the opportunity to compete, grow, and excel both on and off the field.
Leading the Way
The Innovators Soccer Club is guided by two exceptional coaches who bring both local roots and global experience to our athletes:
Coach Mariano Tenuta – A standout player and coach, Mariano has semi-professional experience with Kenosha United F.C. and was drafted in the 2022 MASL Draft by the Harrisburg Heat. He now leads both the middle and high school Innovators teams, focusing on tactical excellence, skill development, and leadership.
Coach Franco Tenuta – Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Franco is the owner of Kenosha United F.C. and has held coaching licenses from both the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). With over 25 years of coaching experience across multiple clubs, Franco is dedicated to mentoring student-athletes and helping them achieve their full potential.
Opportunities for Players
Middle School (Grades 6–8): Indoor soccer evaluations will be held this September at KTEC Schools of Innovation. Registration is $50 per player and covers training sessions and a team jersey. The Fall/Winter league will be played at the Kenosha Boys and Girls Club. There is a separate fee for the league, payable directly to the Kenosha Boys and Girls Club. High School (Grades 9–12): Open tryouts will take place on October 18 at the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha for both boys and girls, open to KTEC students and non-students. The $25 fee includes a free tryout shirt. Registration opens September 1, 2025.
A New Chapter for KTEC
This marks an exciting new chapter for KTEC Schools of Innovation as we expand athletic opportunities for our students. The Innovators Soccer Club is built on teamwork, skill, and community spirit, and we can’t wait to see our athletes thrive. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend and support their players.
