KTEC Students Win at 2025 SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Conference
At KTEC Schools of Innovation, we believe in preparing students not only for graduation but for real-world success—and in the first week of April, our students proved just how bright their futures are.
Five of our high school students proudly represented Kenosha at the 52nd Annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC), held April 1–2, 2025, at the Alliant Energy Center and Madison Area Technical College in Madison, WI.
Showcasing Talent, Skill, and Dedication
Competing alongside hundreds of students from across the state, Blake Krauter, Nathan Warwick, Aidan Tosch, and Jobany Vazquez-Del Mercado demonstrated the kind of innovation, professionalism, and technical skill that sets KTEC High School apart.
These students took part in the SkillsUSA state competition, a nationally recognized program that highlights the value of career and technical education through real-world, hands-on challenges.

State Champions in Commercial sUAS
We are especially proud to share that Aidan Tosch and Blake Krauter earned first place in the Commercial sUAS (drone) competition, officially becoming Wisconsin State Champions!
As a result of their outstanding performance, Aidan and Blake will represent Wisconsin at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, from June 23–27, 2025.
This is a huge honor and a testament to the high-level preparation students receive through KTEC’s focus on career and technical education (CTE).
Real-World Readiness Starts Here
The SkillsUSA competition aligns perfectly with our mission at KTEC Schools of Innovation—to empower students with the future-ready skills needed in today’s fast-changing workforce. Our students gain certifications, hands-on training, and early exposure to career pathways in high-demand industries like Building Trades, Automation & Robotics, Transportation, and Information Systems.
