Cory Tussler

High School Tech

Cory Tussler did not come to teaching through a traditional path. He spent a decade in the field with Mohr Construction, earning hands-on experience and NC3 certifications in Tormach CNC, PMI, Hand Tool Identification, 3D Dremel, and Multimeter. He holds a B.A. in Geography from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and brings that real-world foundation to his Tech and Digital Art classroom at KTEC Schools of Innovation.

He became a teacher because he believes every child deserves guidance built on honesty and the freedom to grow into the best version of themselves. He chose KTEC specifically because of its hands-on approach, its industry partnerships, and its willingness to break down barriers and meet students where they are.

Born and raised in Kenosha, Cory is deeply rooted in his community. He has coached and officiated youth sports for more than 15 years through CYC and the Boys and Girls Club, manages the Kenosha United Softball Club, and serves as President of the Kenosha Sportsmen Dartball League. He also holds the distinguished title of Pretzel Guy at the Bristol Renaissance Faire. At home, he shares his life with his wife and their young son, and family is the thing he holds most dear.
