Madison Bazylewicz
Music
Madison Bazylewicz knows what it means to be a musician because she still is one. A clarinet player with the Kenosha Pops Concert Band and an active student of the violin, she brings a B.M. in Music Education with a concentration in Instrumental Music Education from Carthage College to her role at KTEC Schools of Innovation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors in Music Education and gained classroom experience student teaching orchestra at Bradford High School and general music at Bose and Harvey Elementary.
Her love of music is what brought her to teaching. Some of her most treasured memories have come from making music with others, and she became a teacher so her students could have those same experiences. For Madison, music education goes beyond notes and rhythms. It is about building confidence, finding a sense of belonging, and discovering what you are capable of.
Because she is always growing as a musician herself, Madison understands that learning something new can be hard, and she believes those moments of progress deserve to be recognized. Whether a student masters a difficult rhythm, tries something for the first time, or gains confidence in something that felt uncertain, she thinks that is worth celebrating. She looks forward to growing alongside her students at KTEC.
