¿Por qué se hizo profesor?

I became a teacher to help students understand and learn the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle. I became a PE and Health teacher specifically, because I believe that teaching students how to care for their bodies and minds is beyond important to help them live healthy thriving lives. I’ve seen firsthand how healthy habits—whether it’s staying active, eating well, managing stress, or making safe choices—can change a person’s life. I love helping students find ways to be active in ways that they enjoy. I love helping students find ways to keep their minds and mental health well. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid. In kindergarten I said that I wanted to be a teacher, and never changed my mind. My mom tells me stories of me making my cousins sit down and let me teach them. I enjoy helping others and making a positive impact in any way I can, and what better way to do that than being a teacher!

¿Qué te gustaría que supieran de ti las familias de KTEC?

That I care so much about their students’ well beings. I want them to thrive in all areas of life: professionally, mentally, physically, and in all ways. I will do everything as their teacher to help them, make sure they feel seen, heard, and supported. All of the teachers at KTEC care for your students. They are in good hands here at KTEC!
