Arrival Procedures
**There is no student supervision until 7:35 when students are let into the building**
Student Drivers
Student parking is available in the farthest East row in the lot in front of the KTEC building. Students driving to school should enter the parking lot from 18th Avenue to avoid the drop-off line. Students should walk along the sidewalk in front of the building and enter through Door 1. Students arriving late enter through Door 2.
Parent Drop-off
Parents dropping off their students should enter the parking lot from 63rd Street between the KTEC sign and the bank. They should proceed straight and turn West at the building to drop students off at Door 1. Parents will then continue West and exit the parking lot onto 20th Avenue. Students arriving late will enter through Door 2.
Parents wishing to park and walk their students to the front door may park in the two rows East of the drop-off line. Families should walk their student(s) along the sidewalk in front of the building to Door 1. If the doors are not open, students are to wait on the pad of concrete to the West of the doors. Parents are not permitted to enter the building with their student(s).
Parents picking up students for an appointments should buzz and enter through Door 2.
Daycare Van/Bus Drop-Off
Daycare vehicles should enter the parking lot utilizing 18th Avenue. They should proceed along the East end of the parking lot and drop students off at the North-East corner of the building. Vehicles should continue straight and exit the lot onto 65th Street. Students should walk along the sidewalk in front of the building and enter through Door 1.
Dismissal Procedures
Parents participating in the pick-up line should enter the parking lot from 63rd Street, by the KTEC sign, continue straight to the building, turning West in front of Door 1. Once connected with students, parents will exit the lot onto 20th Avenue.
Middle and High School students waiting for parent pick-up will exit the building via Door 1 and wait on the sidewalk to the West of Door 1 to be picked up.
Elementary students will exit through Door 3 and remain with their teacher until connected with a parent or guardian. Parents may park in parking spaces East of the drop-off line to walk up and greet their children. Parents should then exit the parking lot via 18th Avenue.
Older students should go to the dismissal location of the youngest in the family.
High School Students who drive should exit the building from Door 4, proceed to their vehicles, and exit the lot via 18th Avenue.
Daycare vans and buses will enter the lot from 18th Avenue and proceed down the East side of the parking lot and park along the East side of the building to pick up students. Buses and vans will exit the lot on 65th Street.
