Amanda Beltran

Before she had a classroom of her own, Amanda Beltran was already teaching. Homeschooling her children showed her firsthand how rewarding it is to watch a student learn and grow, and it set her on the path to making teaching her career. She brings an M.S. in Elementary Education and previous experience as a Pre-K teacher at Westlake Christian Academy in Grayslake, Ill. to her new role at KTEC Schools of Innovation.

Her goal is to build a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She volunteers with Journey Church in Kenosha and brings that same sense of commitment to her students, believing that confidence and a love of learning grow best in an environment where kids know they are valued.

Outside of school, Amanda loves to travel and explore new places with her family. She looks forward to getting to know the students and families that make KTEC such a special community.
