Jennifer Bonnes
1st Grade Teacher
A graduate and alumna of the Center for Urban Teaching, Jennifer Bonnes brings her B.S. in Elementary Education and experience as a lead 3rd grade teacher at Hope Christian School to KTEC Schools of Innovation. Outside the classroom, she continues to invest in students as an academic tutor, helping kids grow beyond school hours.
Teaching, for Jennifer, is rooted in a belief that every child has strengths worth discovering. Helping students build confidence and develop a genuine love for learning is what drives her, and she sees her role as much about guiding and empowering the next generation as it is about sharing knowledge.
Jennifer wants KTEC families to know she is compassionate and family-oriented, someone who finds meaning in life’s simple moments. She loves to travel and explore new cultures, reads to both learn and unwind, and enjoys trying new restaurants. Most of all, she cherishes time with her four sons, whether sharing a meal, cheering at sporting events, or simply being together. Those experiences keep her grounded and shape the care she brings to her classroom every day.
