El instituto KTEC acogerá el 29 de abril la primera jornada de firmas de su historia
KTEC High School is proud to announce a historic milestone: our first-ever Signing Day celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the KTEC Schools of Innovation campus, located at 7400 39th Avenue in Kenosha, WI.
This special event will recognize members of our first graduating class as they take the next step in their journey—committing to technical education programs, certifications, or college enrollment. These students are preparing to enter high-demand, high-skill careers, and Signing Day honors their dedication, drive, and bright futures ahead.
The entire community—students, parents, families, and local partners—are invited to join us in celebrating this exciting moment. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in campus tours, hear from national leaders in technical education, and see firsthand how KTEC is shaping the next generation of workforce-ready graduates.

Words of Inspiration
Lisa Marshall, Festo Program Manager for NC3, shared a powerful message about the importance of this moment:
“We honor and recognize the value of skilled trades and show our unwavering support for students around the country who have dedicated themselves to pursuing a career in technical education. We also acknowledge the skills, dedication, and commitment these students will achieve and celebrate the positive impact they will have on society as a whole – all while fostering a culture of respect and dignity they will bring to the workplace.”
Dr. Angela Andersson, founder of KTEC, also shared what this day means for our students and the broader Kenosha community:
“This Signing Day symbolizes not just the success of our first senior class but the future we’re building together. Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, we will launch a new elementary and middle school that will join our high school on one unified campus. This expansion will allow us to provide a seamless 4K–12 educational experience, fostering students’ innovation, creativity, and critical thinking from day one. Through our partnerships with institutions like Colegio Técnico Gateway and employers like Snap-on, our students gain the foundational knowledge and industry awareness they need to thrive in high-demand career fields in Kenosha County and beyond.”
Why Signing Day Matters
Much like athletes committing to college sports programs, our Signing Day shines a spotlight on students entering career and technical education (CTE) pathways. These students are choosing futures in fields that drive our economy and strengthen our communities—and it’s time to celebrate their choice with the same excitement and pride.
By joining programs that lead to industry-recognized certifications, college degrees, or apprenticeships, KTEC seniors are setting themselves up for long-term success in careers like:
